How do I clean wood products?
Simply take a well wrung out soapy dish cloth and wipe the surface clean, then thoroughly dry.

How do I oil wood products?
Using white mineral oil, pour oil onto the top and spread over the entire surface. Let stand for approximately 15 minutes. Wipe off excess oil with paper towel and buff with a clean cloth.

How does weather affect my top?
Humidity and dryness cause your top to expand and contract. because of the dryness during the winter you may notice small cracks appearing in your top. This is an indication that your top needs to be oiled. When oiling your top, make sure to thoroughly fill all cracks. Once the humidity levels are higher, the cracks will disappear.

Can I prepare food on my top?
Yes. All the products used in the manufacturing of your wood product are food safe. As with all food preparation surfaces, care must be taken to properly clean the area to prevent contamination.

My wood product looks white and dull?
It needs to be oiled. Oiling should be done at least four times per year at each season change. Failure to maintain the product can eventually result in warping or de-lamination.

My countertop is warping?
This can be happening for various reasons. Usually it means one side of the product is accepting moisture or dryness faster than the other side. This is caused by improper installation. See installation instructions for the correct method of installing your top.
